Sections
My Devices
This section displays the devices with the following statuses:
- IN PRODUCTION: Devices currently being produced.
- PRODUCED: Devices that have completed production.
- ACTIVATED: Devices you own and have registered.
- WAITING FOR REGISTRATION: Devices that are produced but not yet registered to your account.
If your device is in production state, you cannot make any further changes to it. However, you can check the “Updated at” column to see when the latest update was made. After production, you will have an option to register it with your account.
Device Registration/Activation
Once your device is produced, it will wait for registration. To register it:
- Open the “Actions” menu next to the device that says “PRODUCED – WAITING FOR REGISTRATION” and select “Register.”

- Enter the serial number shown on the device.

- After clicking “Ok,” you should see the message “Activation successful!” and the device status will change to ACTIVATED.
You can also change the visibility of your design on this page. Activated devices can be transferred to other users, but only one user can be active at a time.
Changing device visibility, sharing your devices
By default, all designs are private, meaning they can only be seen, purchased, or modified by you. However, you can make your design public. Public designs can be searched, purchased, and cloned to workspaces by others to start with.
You can change the visibility only for the devices which are already produced, and linked to your account. Activated devices will have “ACTIVATED” status under the Status column.
To change the visibility of an activated device:
- Hover over the Actions menu next to the device.
- Choose the desired visibility option:
- Private: The device will be completely hidden and cannot be cloned by anyone except you.
- Public: Your device will appear in the Custom Controllers section of the shop, and others can search for and clone it.
- Unlisted: The device won’t appear in search results or on the shop, but you can still share its product page for others to clone.

A public or unlisted design of a device can be cloned by following the link on the product page sent to you via email, or using the Menu… > Clone/Import Project option in the Factory and entering the device-sku
.
You can also copy the device SKU to the clipboard to share it with anyone. They can only clone your design if it is public or unlisted.
Device Transfer
If you own a device and wish to transfer it to another user—whether it’s a friend, another music lover, or for resale—you can do so using the transfer feature in your account.
Important Notes:
- Once transferred, the device will be deactivated for you, meaning you will no longer be able to use it in the Configurator unless you reactivate it by registering it again.
- Only one user can be active with the device at a time. Once transferred, the new user will take ownership and be able to register the device to their account.
- The deactivated user will not receive any future firmware updates for that device.
How to Transfer a Device:
- In the My Devices section, locate the device you want to transfer.
- Open the Actions menu next to the device and select Transfer.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm the transfer.
- Once confirmed, the device will be deactivated for you and will remain visible until the new user registers it with their account. The new user should follow Register Another Device steps to get the ownership.
This process allows for easy ownership transfers, whether you’re giving your device to someone else or reselling it.
My Submitted Projects
This section lists the projects you’ve submitted to MIDILLI but are still in progress, either pending review or awaiting payment. These projects are referred to as “projects” until they are completed and ready to be reviewed.
Once you submit your projects to our servers, you agree to our terms of service and privacy policy.
The projects listed here may have three statuses:
Submitted
Your project has been uploaded to our servers and is waiting for finalization. At this stage, you can:
Complete Payment: Lock your design and proceed with payment.
Delete: If you no longer need the project, you can permanently delete it from our servers. Note that you may still have a local copy in the Factory, which you can delete as well by following the instructions in the Factory Manual > Delete a Project.

Waiting for Payment
Once you lock or complete your design via your account page or the Factory, the project will enter this status. If you’ve already made the payment, it might take some time for the status to update.
If you did not complete the payment, you can go to the product page page using the Actions menu, and complete the checkout.

Important: After payment is completed, you cannot make any changes to the design. The next step is the review phase.
In Review
After your payment is received, your project will be reviewed by us. During this phase, you cannot make any changes to your design. If everything is in order, production will begin, and the project will move to the My Devices section.

Once your project passes the review stage and is approved, it will be moved into the production queue, and you’ll be notified.
Active Sessions
This section displays all of your active login sessions. It provides detailed information about each session, including:
- OS: The operating system used for each login.
- First Login: The date and time when the session was initiated.
- Expires On: The date when the session will automatically expire.
- Action: The option to log out of any active session.
You can log out of any session by clicking Logout next to the session you want to terminate. This is useful if you want to end a session from a device you no longer use or if you think your account may have been accessed without your permission.

Register Another Device
If a device is not listed, you are planning to register a deactivated device or a device being transferred to you, use the “Register Another Device” button in your My MIDILLI Account. You will need the device name as well as the serial number.
Enter the device name exactly as it is, and choose “Register to My Account.”

After entering the serial number, the device will be visible in your “My Devices” section with the status “ACTIVATED.” You can then log in to the Configurator to synchronize your device and start configuring it. If it’s still not visible, you can use the “Resynchronize Hardware” option in the Configurator.
Change Password
To change your password, enter your current password and choose a new, strong password (at least 8 characters, including one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and one special character).
